tri and Oura

From a habit
to understanding yourself.

With TRI, create your own habit, track it alongside sleep and workouts, then discuss the differences with AI. The bracelet also wakes you with vibration, lasts up to 15 days and does not require choosing a ring size.

Checked October 9, 2026. Features depend on the model, region and membership.

01

Your habits, your insights

Create “An hour without notifications” or another habit of your own. Compare your metrics on days with and without it, then discuss the differences with AI.

02

Wakes you, as well as tracking

Tell the assistant a time. After syncing, the bracelet wakes you with a wrist vibration. Oura has no alarm or vibration.

03

One strap for sleep and the gym

The strap adjusts to your wrist. There is no ring size to choose, and the device stays on your wrist when you grip a dumbbell.

Your journal and personal AI

Explore a habit
that is not in the catalog.

Create your own habit in TRI, log it in the journal or in conversation, and compare your metrics. The assistant explores your sleep, recovery and workout history alongside your entries, and you can ask follow-up questions.

How habit analysis works ↗
An hour without notificationsDemo data

01 · Your own habit

What matters to you.

Add what you want to explore to your journal. For example, an hour without notifications before bed.

No notifications todayLogged in the journal through chat

02 · Your metrics

With and without it.

Once you have enough history, compare days with and without the habit. This example shows sleep duration.

With the habit · 8 days
7 h 32 min
Without the habit · 9 days
7 h 04 min

Why the difference?

Does it help me sleep?

Sleep is 28 minutes longer on average. But you also had fewer late workouts on those days. We cannot yet separate their effect from the habit.

Next: compare days with similar strain.

An illustrative workflow, not a user testimonial. An association in your history does not prove causation. The assistant should flag insufficient data.

What does the assistant remember about me?

Your routine, goals, preferences and important circumstances. It consults bracelet history and your journal when they are relevant to the question. View, edit and delete its memory. Health information is saved with consent. Sync the bracelet for an up-to-date analysis.

tri assistantDemo data

Compare my recovery after late workouts with rest days.

After late workouts, sleep is 42 minutes shorter on average, overnight heart rate higher and HRV lower. Three evenings also included a late dinner. We cannot yet attribute this to training. Move your workout earlier, then we can compare the week with your baseline.

Workouts × sleep

A 14-day comparison

  • Sleep, heart rate and HRV together
  • Late dinners included from the diary
  • A next step to test the pattern

Competitor advantages to consider

Consider Oura if the ring format is essential to you or its women’s health tools are important. Choose tri for a Russian-speaking assistant, haptic alarm and wrist-worn format. Other ring brands have different features; this comparison is specifically with Oura, not every smart ring.

Scientific foundations

The methods are open.

Questions about choosing.

Should I choose the tri bracelet or an Oura ring?

In TRI, your custom habit is included in comparisons of your metrics, and you can discuss the results with AI. Oura allows custom tags but excludes them from automatic Discoveries. Further TRI advantages: a vibrating alarm, up to 15 days of battery and a strap for sleep and workouts. Both offer AI, memory and lab-result features.

Can I set an alarm on Oura?

According to Oura’s official help, the ring has no alarm or vibration. tri has a haptic alarm that can be created through the assistant and sent to the bracelet during syncing.

Can I track a habit that is not in the catalog?

Yes. In TRI, you can create a custom habit and log it in the journal or in conversation. Once you have logged days and bracelet data, compare days with and without the habit and discuss the differences with the assistant. It should not present insufficient data or a statistical association as a proven effect.

Is tri more accurate than its competitor?

This page compares features and workflows. Comparative accuracy requires separate device testing against reference measurements. Scientific articles explain our methods but do not themselves prove a sensor is superior.
